Traveling to Patagonia

From the U.S or Europe you will want to fly into Buenos Aires, Argentina. From here you will connect either to Esquel or Bariloche. Esquel is the best option as it is closer to the fishing. There are currently three commercial flights per week to Esquel from Buenos Aires offered by Aerolineas Argentinas. There may be more for the upcoming season. It is important to know that you must change airports in Buenos Aires from the International to the Domestic in each direction. Be sure to take a certifed taxi and allow a minimum of three hours between airports. On some occasions, a night in Buenos Aires will be required.
It is about a three hour flight and we will be there to meet you at the Esquel airport. From there it is only fifteen minutes to town and two hours to the Hosteria el Aura by car.
