When Lu is not busy fishing on the beautiful lakes and rivers of Patagonia, he is oftentimes out hiking and exploring the amazing back country outside his Valle Bonito Lodge. From the Valle Bonito, many awesome hikes begin right out the door and lead to high peaks, pristine lakes, turquoise rivers, raging waterfalls, old growth forests and other interesting places. The possibilities are almost unlimited. At the Valle Bonito, Lu also has Specialized mountain bikes, inflatable sea kayaks,  rafts and great swimming holes nearby. Horseback rides and white-water rafting on the world famous Futaleufu are easily arranged.

In a week at the Valle Bonito, you can have the chance to  try several different activities, including fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, flat water sea kayaking, whitewater rafting, horsebacking, and just about anything else that you want to do in the mountains of Chile, including spending some quality time relaxing in your cabin on the banks of the Espolon River.
